Rainy Season

Every Year, I eagerly wait for the rains ,as this is the season, where the environment is lush green. When the rain drops touches the ground, it naturally feels like, life is back.. I love the evenings of rainy season when there are different beautiful designs of clouds appear in the sky in different colours. And the little wet and sweet breeze (and something yummie to eat). ........

The rainy season brings back the memories and the fun days which I spent with my brothers and friends in Assam. We used to enjoy getting drenched in the pitter patter raindrops, jump in a puddle, and tried to brave the rains with our umbrellas and dance with joy. While coming back from school with our raincoats on, we used to splash in the pools of water. It was a joy to make tiny paper boats and see them sailing on the clogged water….

And now when I look out from my window sipping hot tea with pakoras.It is a delight to see the rain drops faling from leaves, the sweet fragrance of the earth and not to forget the cold but unsullied breeze coming by………
